Surrounded by varied and rich natural resources, it will be easy for some creative and unconventional people in the city of Iloilo to develop and create their new set of products that can become distinctively their own. This is manifested in the types of products that are being made available in the market by Ilongo entrepreneurs and agricultural workers. 

The current statistical tables and reports being stored by the Bureau of Export and Tourism Promotion of the Department of Trade and Industry revealed a diversity products and consumer goods being produced by small and medium business enterprises in Iloilo City. These products and goods were identified by looking at the types of producers and manufacturers found in the city and the types of products they are making and delivering to the market.

These consumer goods and products may be grouped according to the following product categories:

  1. Hand-painted t-shirts, jars, converted handmade paper products
  2. Chimes, kitchen wares, religious items, holiday decorations
  3. Furniture and furnishings
  4. DENDROBIUM/VANDA/CATTLEYA/CYMBIDIUM, FERTILIZERS
  5. Propagated planting materials
  6. Bamboo coins placemat, metal crafts, folding furniture
  7. PIAYA/BARQUILLOS/TURRONES DE MANI/BARQUIRON, COCONUT UBOD PICKLES
  8. T-shirts
  9. Feeds, dressed chicken
  10. Corded and beaded lace; embroidered items
