The following list shows the various cultural festivals being held in the Philippines every month of May.



SAKAY-SAKAY ABAYAN (FLUVIAL PROCESSION)
June 0 | Brgy. Taft, Surigao City
A procession at sea led by the Patron Saint of Bilang-Bilang, Virgen dela Paz y Buen Viaje, the patroness of good voyage aboard a beautifully adorned vessel

 

 
 

BIRAYS FESTIVAL
June 1 | Belison, Antique
Fluvial parade in honor of the Virgin Mary, participated in by 6 barangays of Belison.

 

 
 

CEBU BUSINESS MONTH’S ARTS AND CULTURE
June 1- June 30 | Cebu
Often referred to as the second biggest festival in Cebu next only to the Sinulog, the annual Cebu Business Month showcases a series of exhibits, trade fairs, sporting events, conferences, fellowships and cultural presentations spread out over approximately six weeks of fun, frenzy and frolic.

 

 
 

PINANGAT FESTIVAL
June 1 20 | Camalig, Albay
Highlight of this festival is the “Pinangat Street Dancing competition” followed by competitions on Pinangat Burger Eating and Pinangat Cooking.

 

 
 

PILI FESTIVAL
June 1 30 | Sorsogon, Sorsogon
Pili is an indigenous crop of Bicol region, particularly Sorsogon. This festival showcases the PIli, the primary purpose of which is to emphasize its importance and to increase the awareness of the public on its various economic uses.

 

 
 

BILANG-BILANG ABAYAN FESTIVAL
June 01 | Balangay Taft, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte
A showcase of religious heritage of the Surigaonons in honor of St. Virgen de la Paz Y de Buen Viaje.

 

 
 

RIZAL ARTIST FESTIVAL
June 1- June 30 | Angono, Rizal
The festival aims to create awareness and appreciation of Philippine Art and Culture; and promoting arts and culture as vital attraction for local and foreign tourist. Rizal has the potential of becoming a tourist destination particularly in the field of arts and crafts. It is known as the home of various national artists, musicians and other equally creative artist

 

 
 

LINGGO NG ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE AND AND HUDYAKA FESTIVAL
June 1- June 6 | Dipolog City
A week’s celebration featuring agro-industrial fairs, sports, beauty pageants, concerts, cultural shows and street dancing.

 

 
 

SAKAY-SAKAY ABAYAN (FLUVIAL PROCESSION)
June 1 | Barangay Taft, Surigao City
A procession at sea led by the Patron Saint of Bilang-Bilang, Virgen dela Paz Y Buen Viaje, the patroness of good voyage aboard a beautifully adorned vessel followed by colourful motor launches and bancas passing through the Surigao Strait and back to the City wharf.

 

 
 

PHILIPPINE EAGLE WEEK
June 4- June 10 | Davao City
Various activities in support of the Philippine Eagle Conservation Program.
